Join Cruise Chair Roger Milligan for a cruise into the Delta.  This will be a low-key, do-it-yourself style cruise.

Grindstone Joe’s is a private island that is about a mile from Tower Park Marina. It has a membership of 50 members maximum.   It is a place for relaxing, playing games, swimming and fishing.

There is a large covered deck for grilling and tables for eating.  It is the perfect place for docktails as well as dominoes. There is a meadow for horseshoes and volleyball as well as some of the best fishing in the Delta.

The cruise will include daily docktails and communal grilling on the island.  Tower Park Marina, accessible by dinghy, has a small general store and Rosa's at Tower Park Italian Restaurant and Bar.

There are heads with showers for your use.  The docks are set up for 30 Amp as well  as 50 Amp and water.  The dock fee is $45.00 per night, which covers your slip, electricity and charcoal.

South Beach Harbor

Join Cruise Chair Bob Wilson for a cruise across the Bay to South Beach Marina in San Francisco to see the Giants play the Texas Rangers. Because the number of available slips (10), game tickets (24) and seats at dinner (30) are all different, you will need to register separately for your slip, your game tickets and your Saturday dinner at Delancey Street Restaurant.  If you obtain a slip, you may arrive as early as Friday afternoon and can stay until Sunday morning. This registration page is for your slip only.

Your slip will be $1.25 per foot per night, plus a $10/boat flat fee charged on all group reservations.  Please be sure to include the full LOA of your boat, as South Beach allows only a one-foot overhang on all of their slips.  The registration confirmation you will receive from Sausalito Yacht Club will not contain the correct amount, because the registration system does not have the capability to calculate a price based on another piece of registration information - in this case, your boat's LOA.  On the registration page, immediately above the blue bar that says "Registration Details", there is a box that says "Choose an Option".  Please select either "Estimated Slip Fee - One Night - $60.00" or " Estimated Slip Fee - Two Nights - $110.00".  The amounts are based on the assumption that each boat will be 40 feet.  The charge in your confirmation email will read either $60.00 or $110.00.  The correct amount will be  manually calculated and charged to your club account 2 weeks prior to the cruise (which is the deadline for the Club to pay South Beach).  When you have registered and confirmed your registration, a screen will appear with multiple payment options.  Please do not select credit card, since that would result in the estimated amount rather than the accurate, calculated amount being charged to your credit card.

If the 10 available slips have all been reserved before you register, beginning on April 10, 2012, you can attempt to make an individual reservation by calling South Beach Harbor at (415) 495-4911, ext. 1111.

The registration instructions will make reference to the ability to Add More Attendees - because this registration is for your boat, not people, that option will not appear.

(The separate pages titled "Cruise to South Beach/Giants, June 8 - 10, 2012 (Game Tickets)"  and "Cruise to South Beach/Giants, June 8 - 10, 2012 (Dinner Registration)" are where you will register for your baseball tickets and the Saturday night dinner at Delancey Street Restaurant and make your entree and wine choices (which will be charged to your SYC member number).

St. Francis Yacht Club

NOTE:  DUE TO CANCELLATION OF OUR SLIPS BY THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE DISTRICT (WHICH OWNS ST. FRANCIS' HARBOR), THIS CRUISE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND TO JUNE 22 - 25.  If you have already registered, your data will be saved, and you will receive an email from Cruise Chair Don Holden on what you need to do to transfer your registration to the new dates.

Join Cruise Chair Don Holden for a cruise across the Bay to St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco. Because the number of available slips is extremely limited, you will need to register separately for your slip (no charge) and your Saturday dinner at St. Francis YC. If you obtain a slip, you may arrive as early as Friday afternoon and can stay until Tuesday morning. This registration page is for meals and wine only.

Unfortunately, all of the slips that St. Francis YC allowed us have been reserved, so the Registration Page for Slips has been removed from the SYC website.  On this page, you will make your reservations for the Saturday night dinner at the St. Francis YC and make your entree and wine choices (which will be charged to your SYC member number).  This page will also offer you the opportunity to indicate your interest in an optional group dinner on Friday at a nearby restaurant.

If you do not have a confirmation for a slip at the time that you register for dinner, please select "Arriving by land".  We will adjust the information if a slip becomes available.
