Dave started his hospitality career working as a bartender, food server and then manager in Southern California. After a four year stint in Honolulu, where he worked in fine dining restaurants as a server, sommelier and manager he returned to the Newport Beach area in Southern California to continue his career. Working in the wine industry for 10 years as a salesman and then Account Manager for Seagram Fine Wines, Dave’s wine knowledge was expanded greatly. After opening a successful restaurant in Newport Beach, Dave embarked on a career in the private club industry working at The Balboa Yacht Club, the Balboa Bay Club and The St. Francis Yacht Club. Dave has been here at the Sausalito Yacht Club since 2012.
